The
Department of Trade & Industry Export Trade Promotion
is pleased to inform you that the Trade Facilitation Office
of Canada is giving online services for Philippine Exporters
interested to market and export their products to Canada
or exploring new export markets for free with TFOC’s
online services, a web-based mechanism for exporteres
and potential buyers to do business.
Among
many other features, TFOC’s web-based services will
enable interested Philippine exporters registering at
www.tfoc.ca to upload basic information on company profile
and products, including uploading of photos of products,
price list and factory site, of vital interest to over
prospective 1,000 Canadian importers in TFOC’s database.
Companies
that would avail of this online service are required to
have at least one year exporting experience for a more
realistic trade possibility considering that Canada is
a sophisticated market.
Canadian
buyers are affluent but price conscious, health and environmetal
conscious of use of products and ingredients and more
resistant to change, meaning, they tend to stick to one
product or product supplier.
