Natural Rubber
(NR) industry is beng challenged, throughout the world,
to help the producers meet the increasingly demand as
a result of increasing NR needs recent years. Producing
countries should preserve this momentum by inducing sustainable
production practices by creating an appropriate policy
and strategy. Planters are seekinjg support to adopt more
advanced technologies for improving their productivity
and efficiency of their rubber business. In addition,
rubber processors and rubber-based products industry are
also challenged to produce higher quality of the products
to meet consumers’ demand and environmental concerns.
To provide
a forum to exchange information, ideas and experiences
amongst producers and consumers of NR based products,
the Indonesian Rubber Research Institute and Indonesian
Rubber Institute of Estate Crops will be hosting the International
Rubber Conference and Exhbition 2007, that will be on
13-15 June 2007 at Bali International Convention Center.
The Westin Resort Nusadua, Bali. A conference such as
this provides a unique opportuinity to review the advances
in rubber research and development, and to analyze the
global supply, demand and prices of NR.
The speakers
are from the Malaysia Rubber Board, Rubber Research Institute
of Thailand, Vietnam Rubber Association, Indian Rubber
Board, Philippine Rubber Council, Rubber Association of
Indonesia, Indonesian Rubber Research Institute, CATAS
