RECENT DEVELOPMENT IN THE CHINESE RUBBER INDUSTRY

Industry of China grew rapidly during the last decade.
This is one of the major reasons behind the present high
prices in NR market. The phenomenal growth in the Chinese
Auto and Tire Industries has given rise to increased demand
for natural rubber, increase personal income due to continual
high growth in GDP, maintaining at above 8% per annum
is behind these successes.
The
writer has recently traveled to China and would like to
share some of the information he has gathered during his
trip.
